My Story

After experiencing a supernatural deliverance from addiction to nicotine and lust, I sought after deeper knowledge of the Lord who had freed me from my sin. This seeking led to finding, and in that finding I found passion. Christ’s desires became my own, and my greatest longing is to introduce the deeper realities of God and His transformative love to everyone who has an ear to hear. The more I spent time with the Lord, the more I began to become like Him. My heart began to break for what breaks His heart and rejoice in all that He rejoices in. The Holy Spirit became my teacher and I learned how to war, not only against the enemy, but against my flesh. He taught me how to love the “unlovable” people in my life and reminded me that those who hurt me are not my real enemies. Satan often tries to distract us from warring against the real enemy, which is him.  Ephesians 6:17 tells us that the Sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. By God’s Word, we wage war “against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12 NKJV). Jesus taught me to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Satan is the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4), and he has spread deceptive narratives that have blinded the minds of those void of the truth. Much of this is done through television, the internet, social media, and the like. We are meant to be children of Light, bringing God’s Truth and Love everywhere we go. If we are willing to say yes, God can work through us to speak life in a world filled with spiritual death. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit” (Proverbs 18:21). Today, darkness and wickedness are trendy and evil is getting very bold. We need to be bolder about our God and the truth of His Word. As children of God, we are “Bold as a lion” (Proverbs 28:1). I am passionate about the truth because it set me free, and it can set you free! My desire is for all to be loosened from the bondage of deception, experience the fullness of Jesus’ love, and be transformed into the Kingdom of God’s marvelous light!
